So Emma had an incident yesterday that ended up with us in the emergency department. She had a hospital bracelet on, and we let her keep it on last night when we went to the Brooks for dinner. When we got home she crashed, so she slept in her dress and the bracelet was still on. This morning when we were getting ready for church we told her we were going to have to cut off the bracelet. This caused her a lot of stress. Finally, she said "but if we cut off my hospital bracelet how will anyone know I went to the hospital?

The incident, by the way, happened when we were at the outlet mall. We were looking for school clothes for the fall for Emma. Braz and I were distracted by the good deals. Emma likes to play hide and seek in the clothes racks. All of the sudden we heard a crash, and then Emma crying. When they removed the fallen clothes rack, there she was with a moderate sized gash in her head, and of coarse lots of blood. Luckily, because she had a bleeding head wound, they Fast Tracked her. We were in the hospital for 2 hours tops. They cleaned her wound, "glued" it back together, and took several head xrays. She seems to be doing really well today, she just didn't like that we had to wake her up a couple of times during the night, just to make sure there was no further damage. She even got to see her head xrays. She thought it was funny that she could see her teeth.
