Today, someone had a birthday...

We went to get a family portrait done; we were so pleased with the results, we ordered our family Christmas cards today, too. Emma was priceless and adorable (of course); she hammed it up for the camera, so Mom and Dad had a difficult time making it out without spending a ton of money.
Then, we came home, and opened presents. Emma got lots of Clifford stuff. She loves her big, red "doh-guh!"
Two syllables. Doh. Guh. Adorable.
One year down. Too bad we can't slow it down any, but we're enjoying every minute of it.
Love you, little Emmakins.
So, this is what happens when you let Dad play with the new digital camera all weekend.
Weekend Around the Town (09-15-2002)
Enjoy...
so, i went ahead and bought the camera. it's my combined anniversary and birthday present, but really, it's just something to make getting pictures of emma up and viewable as quickly as possible.
on that note, a sleeping baby. i'll be joining her shortly...

Just wanted to comment that, unless you're blind, I've starting making some layout and display changes to Emma's website. If you happen to notice any odd problems, just let me know by commenting here, and I'll work on getting them fixed ASAP.
Thanks, and thanks for stopping by...
It's getting close to birthday time. We're trying to get the date set for sure - there was a problem with the Social Committee planning a Wine and Cheese for 5:00, which meant that they wanted ample time to decorate. We're going to try to move the party - I don't think a Clifford Wine and Cheese is the idea the Social Committee was looking for.
And, Amazon locked me out of Emma's old wish list. Part of the password verification process asked for a credit card used with the account. Not having purchased anything using Emma's account, I was up a creek.
So, I created a new account. Here's the link to it:
We just put some things on there that we've been looking at for Emma. Aside from the sandbox (which could live outside) we're looking for smaller toys. Like the small kitchen, and Baby Einstein DVDs.
Three weeks to go until the party. I'm hoping to send out invitations this week, and we want to get a digital camera next week so we can start putting up pictures.
Keep watching this space for more info...
I should be sending out invitations this weekend, but I wanted to let everyone who reads this know in advance:
We're throwing a "Emma is One Year Old!" party on September 28th, here in Williamsburg. Drop me an email if you want some more information, or just sit tight until the invitations show up...
Well, you have to start somewhere.
I've wanted to get something on the Internet that I could easily use to update everyone about Emma and her life. I just got lazy, and never got around to it.
Now, I'm going to try to rectify that.
Up until Emma's birthday on the 23rd, you should see me working on this site, adding graphics that have been sitting on my hard drive for a few months, linking to photo albums and the like - housekeeping.
Then, after her birthday, we're getting a digital camera, so I hope to have frequent photographic updates of the little stinker.
Until then, just keep coming back.
Thanks...
