Wednesdays are very busy days for us, but yesterday we managed to squeeze in a playdate anyway (what was I thinking?!) Anyway, I took Emma and 2 of her friends to the park because it was beautiful! The girls were pretending they were all sisters. They have an evil mother. Of the many evils this imaginary mother committed, the worst, in their 4 year old mind, was that she made them all sleep in the same room and there was only one bed. Since they are saints, they would let their baby sister sleep in the bed. They put pillows around the bed and the floor so in case she rolled off the bed, she wouldn't get too hurt. I thought all this was pretty funny, until . . .

I noticed the other mothers were looking at them and looking at me. Then I noticed that Sarah had a little bit of chocolate ice cream on her forehead, that looked suspiciously like a bruise. I decided that it was time to announce loudly that it was time to go so I could take them home to their mothers, as I'm wiping the bruising ice cream off Sarah's forehead!
