Potty Entry

I apologize to anyone who doesn't understand why I would write this entry.

BIG NEWS in our home today. Sarah has been potty trained for pee for sometime now. It's the poop that's been an issue. She usually makes it to the potty if I catch her when she has that look or starts grunting, but usually about 3 times a week I have to change her underwear. Especially if (forgive me), it's a little soft. She pooped this morning, so I wasn't expecting anymore today. This afternoon, I came in from getting the mail, and she said, "Mommy, Mommy, I pooped". I said, "Oh, that's OK, let me get some wipes and I'll change you." She said, "No, Mommy, I pooped in the potty!". Not only had she pooped in the potty, but it was a pretty soft poop, too. Wow, was I ever proud! Now, I just have to get her to go potty in the "big" potty in the bathroom, instead of the little one in the family room! One step at a time. Hip hip hooray!

Now Blogging

Ok, so I've decided I wanted to start blogging again. Not everyday, probably. I'm trying to change things around a little bit, change the name of my blog, that sort of thing. Please bear with me while I figure things out. While I've certainly accomplished many things on my way to becoming an independent woman, I seem to be more than slow in the computer department!

Confession

So, it rained last night. This morning, while I was out on my back deck, I realized that because it hasn't rained in about a week, I haven't had to mow the grass this week. I do enjoy mowing the grass, it's just been a really busy week. I think it's kind of sad that I'm pleased that because of the lack of rain, even though my schedule has been hectic, my lawn doesn't look too shaggy! The kids can still certainly play in the back yard without grass preventing them from seeing their feet! Yay dry spell!
