Mmm... Irony...
Matt and I were standing in line at the grocery store tonight, waiting our turn. Bored, I idly scanned the covers of the checkout magazines. Usually, my gaze lingers on the Weekly World News - it's amusing. However, tonight the headlines that caught my eye were a pair of teasers, set precisely opposite each other on the cover of... Not Cosmo, but a similar woman's magazine. On the left: You Can Change Your Body! On the right: Men Tell Us Why They Like Women The Way They Are!

And then they said...
"Do NOT read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly." -Baz Luhrmann, "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)" (technically, it's by Mary Schmich, Luhrmann was the one who set it to music) Really? I didn't know that. Cool. ::marks down her new thing for the day:: Post a comment
