Relaxing Night
Penny
Our first night home. Penny is still learning how to nurse. So am I, for that matter. There's a certain amount of pain involved for the nursee, in the first week or so. So to distract myself from an unexpectedly early feeding, I asked Matt to put in a DVD - to give me something to watch while she was eating. Naturally, she fell asleep before the opening credits had really begun to roll, but Matt and I are watching the movie just the same. I looked over at Matt a couple of minutes ago and saw this scene of domestic harmony and bliss. (Matt's just a cuddly guy. What can I say?)

And then they said...
Weeeeeeeeell... the zombie-like TV stare detracts from it a little, but yes, it's cute. ::grin:: You're going to be hopeless for the next few years, aren't you? And speaking of domestic bliss-- how's the cat? Of course I'm going to be hopeless. You didn't really think it could go any other way, did you? And the cat is doing very well. He seems to have gained at least half a pound in the last couple of weeks. I can no longer feel the individual vertebrae in his spine as well, either, and his litterbox issues appear to be clearing up of their own accord. I'm quite happy with the cat's progress. :-) Post a comment
