Memo
MEMO: Feeling full and then producing high quantities of milk is acceptable. Feeling empty and then producing little is, if not hoped for, at least understood. Feeling empty and then producing a great deal would be an extremely desireable outcome. However, feeling full and then producing very little milk is, as of this moment, an unacceptable situation, and it will no longer be tolerated. Thank you,

And then they said...
Which begs the question, what sort of steps can you take to rememdy non-performance? How, exactly, does one fire one's own boobs? There are all sorts of remedies for low production. I've tried a few, including fenugreek supplements and a prescription med that I can't remember the name of. They haven't worked very well for me, though the fenugreek did wonders for KT. So it's probably just as well that we're going to start Penny on solids soon and wean her around 6 months. As for firing one's own boobs... Well... I'm still working on that. Post a comment
