Hint, Hint
Penny
Once a week, the daycare center sends Penny home with a specific list of activities they're doing with her that week. Today, they sent home the list for next week, which reads, in part: A physical activity/skill we are working on is: We will work with Penelope in getting Penelope comfortable without always being held. I think they're trying to tell us something, here...

And then they said...
I like it that they're going to tell her that everything will be OK. Come on, she's less than six months old! They could tell Penny that sharks are coming to throw her a party or that Liza's getting remarried or anything else; it wouldn't matter. She wants to be held!!! OK simply does not cut the mustard here!!! Why does this remind me of the scene in Three Men And A Baby where Tom Selleck's character is reading baby Mary to sleep with a Sports Illustrated...? "It doesn't matter what I'm reading to her, she doesn't understand any of it anyway, now where were we?" Post a comment
